Did my first pop-up shop at Nuffield Health in Cheam today. I had a very successful day with lots of sales and am pleased that I was able to donate 10% of my profit to the Macmillan charity fund.
Being next to the cake table was wonderful as I was within arms reach of the delicious goodies on display and took full advantage. A girl has to eat when she works!
As WildeSister is entirely my baby, I'm always keen to hear customer feedback on the collection and so far I'm hearing the price is "very reasonable" and the products are fresh. So this WildeSister is heading in the right direction.
Kate Middleton made headlines last week when she was photographed wearing this £49,000 Olympics-themed Cartier necklace.
To create a similar look for a LOT less, this rhodium plated multiple ring pendant necklace is lovely and long so will jazz up any outfit beautifully.
Also available in gold-plated version. £32.00
Last Friday, I did a jewellery party and the lovely hostess decided to make a donation to A-T Children's Project (more details below) instead of taking advantage of free jewellery.
Ataxia-telangiectasia, or A-T, is a rare genetic disease that attacks children, causing progressive loss of muscle control, immune system problems, and a high rate of cancer. Organizations around the world are working to increase awareness, provide information to families, and work toward finding a cure.
One of the guest's friend personally knows a child who has been affected by this awful disease so making the donation to such a great cause felt really good.
Despite it being a late night, I left the party feeling very energised and thankful for my beautiful, healthy little boy fast asleep at home.
South-African born jewellery-loving wife and mom. Can be found living, laughing and sparkling in Auckland.
